Are you guys Made in the USA?

We are proud to say, ALL of our products are made, assembled & painted here in the USA. From sandwiching parts, hand painting decoys, quality control, & packaging, everything is done in Austin, TX.

How do you turn on the Jahpoo Motion Decoy?

The decoy comes with a waterproof remote that has a range from up to 30 yards away. The Jahpoo Flyway Deputy Motion Decoy only runs in two settings "ON" and "OFF". Simply operated by pressing the corresponding button on the decoy. Make sure before disconnecting the battery, to press the off button on your remote. Additionally do not leave the battery pack connected in storage.

Run Time

The Jahpoo Flyway Deputy Motion Duck Decoy will run continuously for 4.5 hrs off of one 4AA battery pack.

High Wind

We've ran the decoy in high wind scenarios, 10+MPH wind. The decoy did not face any issues. When wind starts to exceed 10MPH, we would recommend just turning off the decoy in the resting position. It can sustain higher wind gust using the Self Righting Attachment.

Wake

We've tested the Jahpoo Flyway Deputy Motion Duck Decoy in wake where there was 2.5ft wake boat near by and the decoy did not tip over. We Have had dog's run, jump, and swim right next to the motion decoy. Have had zero problems. If you experience problem from mishandling from shipment, you can use a Self Righting Attachment to stabilize it's motion.

How Shallow Will the Decoy Run?

Unlike other motion decoys, the Jahpoo Flyway Deputy Motion Duck Decoy will run in as shallow as 5in of water.

What about running the decoy in muck, flooded rice, or straight mud?

We've ran the Jahpoo Flyway Deputy Motion Duck Decoy in all types of water. From flooded timber, flooded rice and sludge, it runs through it all. 

Cold

We designed the Flyway Deputy Motion Decoy to be the best motion decoy in the industry. In Texas we don't have much exposure to extreme cold, but we ran a test where the decoy sustained a continuous run time of 3.5hrs in 12 degree Fahrenheit. The Decoy only sustained ice buildup in the air vent hole behind the head. At 3.5hrs was when the decoy needed the ice to be knocked off

Saltwater

The Jahpoo Flyway Deputy Motion Decoy is 100% waterproof. As long as you do not flood the internal compartment with water. There will be no damage. Aditionally the internal components are primarily made of plastic, besides the motor and the electrical PCB/Wires. After use in Saltwater, like your other decoys, rinse off with freshwater.

Foam Filled?

The flyway deputy motion duck decoy is made of HDPE plastic.We do not recommendshooting decoys, shooting at decoys, or shooting at decoys at point blank. The HDPE plastic is very durable & resistant, unfortunately they do not make bulletproof plastic. If there is please call us immediately. 

Are you guys coming out with other species?

As of right now, due to being early stage, we only have two different species to choose from for the Jahpoo Flyway Deputy Motion Duck Decoy. The first being Mallard Drake. The reason the Mallard Drake is was our first choice is because it is the most versatile species across the U.S. of A. Regardless if you're in the PNW or in the marsh of S. Texas, you can run a Mallard Drake and have success in the Field. Additionally we have a Matt Black option available for those that wish to add some diversity to their decoy spread. We plan to come out with varying species at some point the future. We hand paint each motion duck decoy so we do have some learning to do as we come out with other species so please bear with us. email us at info@jahpoo.com and let us know what species you'd like next.

Is the Decoy Waterproof

The Jahpoo Flyway Deputy Motion Duck Decoy is 100% waterproof. Each one is tested before paint and delivery. We've waterproofed the motion duck decoys with a burst testing of a capability of being able to take these 10ft below the water surface. As long as you do not swim with your motion duck decoy down to 10ft, or point blank a shotgun to it, the motion decoy will stay waterproof

Why Matte Black?

Learned from some of our buddies and recommended by others, using matte black stands out in your spread. If you fly a drone over your spread you'll notice as you get further away, especially on sunny days, matte black stands out the most. So we created a Matte Black Motion Duck Decoy to the Flyway Deputy line. Adds some product diversity for you guys, as well discounted pricing as the painting is easier.

What is the Butt-up Flash?

Recommended to us, but also observed through Natural Phenomenon. When waterfowl are feeding in the same motion of the Jahpoo Flyway Deputy motion duck decoy, they create a flash. Thus we have painted the bottom of the decoy white to mimic that natural phenomenon.

User Guide

  • How To Use the Jahpoo Flyway Deputy Motion Duck Decoy?

    Twist open the cap, plug in your 4AA battery pack, close the cap. Make sure the cap is tight to ensure a waterproof seal. Connect a decoy rig of your liking. We recommend using a 4oz mushroom weight. Place it in your spread & press the "ON" button on your waterproof remote. Be sure to stop the decoy in the resting position. Additionaly be sure to store the decoy with the battery pack disconnected. DO NOT USE Lithium Batteries

  • Compatible Batteries

    We recommend using any standard AA brand of battery. DO NOT USE Lithium. The current of the Lithium Ion batteries will short the internal Printed Circuit Board and Motor.

  • Heat

    For best performance of the Jahpoo Flyway Deputy Motion Duck Decoy, we recommend taking care of your product. If the decoy is going to be stored in an environment of +110 degrees Fahrenheit. Maybe it's not an appropriate place to store it.

  • Care & Maintenance

    1. We recommend storing your decoy indoors in 60-100 degree temps, out of direct sunlight, in a dry location.
    2. Disconnect the battery packs.
    3. Keep in a decoy bag to protect the paint and banging against other decoys. 
    4. When you turn off the decoy be sure to turn the decoy off, when in the resting position. 
    5. After use, leave the cap on. 
    6. If any water gets inside, leave cap open and allow to dry for 48 hours. If available, place a silicon packet inside the battery port to absorb any sort of moisture. 
    7. Do not expose your decoy to excessive heat, flames or fire. 
    8. Observe all signs and displays that require an electrical device or RF radio product to be switched off in designated areas. 
    9. Turn off your product prior to boarding an aircraft
    10. Do not attempt to repair the product yourself. Contact Jahpoo at www.jahpoo.com if your decoy is in need of service. 
    11. Do not place decoy near objects that generate strong magnetic fields
    12. Disconnect battery when not in use for long periods of time or during lightning storms. 
    13. Do not allow children to play with your device without adult supervision. 
    14. Before using your device, ensure that the 9V buckle and cap are clear of any moisture, dust and debris before running. 
    15. Do not drop, disassemble, deform or modify your Jahpoo Flyway Deputy Motion Duck Decoy
    16. Do not insert any objects into the electrical or mechanical ports of the decoy as operating damage will result. 

  • Do You Guys Have a Warranty?

    Limited Warranty for Duck Decoy Products Only.  Jahpoo warrants the duck decoy products sold on the Website to be free from original defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 90 days from the date of original purchase, subject to the limitations set forth herein. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and requires the purchaser to supply a copy of the original proof of purchase (original sales receipt) at the time warranty service is requested.  No additional warranty “registration” is required. Please include a complete description of the problem, your name, address, telephone number and a copy of the original proof of purchase. All transportation, insurance and freight charges associated with warranty service and repairs are the responsibility of the purchaser. If an original defect is found by us, we will, at our option, repair, replace or make appropriate adjustment.

    This Limited Warranty does not apply to: (a) asserted defects caused by normal wear and tear; (b) asserted defects caused by modification, unauthorized service, accidents, neglect, misuse, abuse, improper maintenance, or acts of nature; (c) asserted defects involving subjective personal likes or judgements. 

    Should the defects not be deemed to meet these limited warranty requirements, Jahpoo will charge a reasonable repair or replacement charge plus return shipping, which purchaser must pay prior to shipping back to purchaser. However, we will repair any duck decoy product returned with either a reusable motor or decoy body for a charge not to exceed $30.00, plus return shipping.

  • Is there a return policy?

    From date of purchase customers have up to 30 days to return the product. Product is to be free from original defects in the materials and workmanship. Send us an email at info@jahpoo.com a long with your receipt and we'll get right back to you.

Internal Processing Times

We want you to receive your Jahpoo shweg or even better Jahpoo Flyway Motion Duck Decoy as soon as possible, which is why we make our best effort to process each order quickly. You'll be able to see the care we put into our products when you receive our shipments. As of current we are rocking one man band. We have some assitance from roommates, family, & 4 legged friends when applicable. We're working as rapidly as possible to complete orders. Note each decoy is assembled, painted and boxed by hand. We aim to ship our products within a 4-Business day window from receiving an order. 

Ground Shipping

All orders within the U.S. and Canada will ship either UPS or FedEx Ground. Expedited Shipping is available when applicable. 

You will receive a shipping confirmation email when your package is processed to leave our facility, with a tracking number to fllow the shipment. Once shipped, Please allow an additional 3-7 business days for your purchase to arrive, based on your location. 

Shipping delays due to weather, natural disasters, or other uncontrollable events cannot be foreseen and may increase delivery timeframe. Shipping services and rates are subject to change without prior notice. 

International Shipping

Jahpoo offers international shipping all over the globe. Exact freight costs & delivery timelines vary depending on the location, additionally customers may have to bear the cost of customs. 

Returns & Exchanges

From date of purchase customers have up to 30 days to return the product. Product is to be free from original defects in the materials and workmanship. Send us an email at info@jahpoo.com a long with your receipt and we'll get right back to you.

Please note: if you are considering returning or exchanging a Motion Duck Decoy, keep your original box and packaging. Failing to do so can result in an additional $75 return fee. If the customer does not keep the original box that the product arrived in, the customer will be responsible for the full return shipping cost of the Decoy.
